LOW CADMIUM BRASS BARS
About Low cadmium brass bars for RoHS regulation.
Cadmium is included in Brass bar as impurities.
The Cadimum which is for often beyond 100ppm is defected.
The Brass bar which controlled a component of the cadmium by performing
management of the process of manufacture,the process of manufacture,the
management of raw materials severely becomes necessary for sake corresponding
to the RoHS regulation that less than 100ppm were obliged to.
Therefore,in response to the demand of the customer “The Lead-less
Brass bar was premature,but to want to cope with RoHS regulation”
,we controlled content of the cadmium,and the property developed before
and a Japanese Industrial Standards(JIS) Brass bar alloy equal at all.
The main characteristic is as follows.
·A guarantee equal to or less than cadmium content 100ppm(A maker,
thereunder)
·It has easiness of cut at the same level as general brass bar.
In addition,the physical property, a mechanical property is also equal.
·As for the scrap, management like the general Brass bar is possible.
·Because it is not an original standard,management as conventional
JIS is possible.

Representative Low cadmium Brass bars 
Pseries and NB50/NB60 series are JIS Brass bars corresponding to the RoHS
and the ELV regulation.
The content of the cadmium is controlled,but the property is equal conventionally. |
